Basketball Game Preview: Panhandle Panthers vs. Spearman Lynx

The Panhandle Panthers will face off against the Spearman Lynx at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Panhandle will be strutting in after a win while Spearman will be coming in after a loss.

Panhandle took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They managed a 53-47 victory over Whitharral.

Meanwhile, Spearman suffered their closest defeat since December 29, 2023 on Friday. They fell just short of Wildorado by a score of 52-50.

Panhandle's win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-8. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 22.5 points. As for Spearman, their loss dropped their record down to 22-8.

Panhandle barely slipped by Spearman in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, winning 37-36. Does Panhandle have another victory up their sleeve, or will Spearman turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
