Baseball Recap: Ontonagon Comes Up Short

Ontonagon fell victim to Jeffers and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 13-0 to the Jets. The Gladiators haven't had much luck with the Jets recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Ontonagon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Jeffers, their win was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-4.

Ontonagon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Jeffers, they will take on Ewen-Trout Creek at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.14 runs per game on average), something the Jets will no doubt try to take advantage of.
