Basketball Recap: Wicksburg Takes a Loss

Wicksburg lost against Long back in November, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wicksburg Panthers fell just short of the Long Rebels by a score of 47-45. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wicksburg now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Long, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wicksburg will head out to challenge Geneva County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wicksburg is facing Geneva County at the right time seeing as Geneva County is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Long, they will take on Elba at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
