South Beloit posted their closest victory since September 9th on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the North Boone Vikings 2-1. For the Sobos, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 win the Vikings walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Serena Hoffman paced South Beloit's offense, picking up 14 kills. Hoffman got some help from Shelby Ambrose and her 12 assists. Hoffman and Ambrose didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with three apiece.

South Beloit has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. As for North Boone, the loss snapped their winning streak at three matches and leaves them with a 8-11 record.

Coming up, South Beloit will be playing at home against Harvest Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Boone, they will venture away from home to square off against Christian Life at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
