Baseball Recap: Mumford Comes Up Short

Mumford has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging four runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Groesbeck Goats. The Mustangs just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Mumford's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Groesbeck, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Looking ahead, Mumford will challenge Buffalo at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Groesbeck, they will square off against Aggieland HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
