Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pelham). They claimed a resounding 56-7 victory over the ConVal Cougars. The win continues a trend for the Pythons in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won six in a row.

Pelham's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for ConVal, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pelham is set to face off against their familiar foe Manchester West at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Pythons 4.4, the Blue Knights 9.2) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, ConVal will take on rival Hollis-Brookline at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
