It was a good run, but Neumann Regional Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Montgomery Red Raiders. The game marked the Golden Knights' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Andrew Walter made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Neumann Regional Academy's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Montgomery, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Neumann Regional Academy will square off against Northwest Area at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Montgomery, they will take on South Williamsport at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
