Basketball Recap: Augusta Gets the Win

Augusta's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Lewis County Lions by a score of 57-47. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Panthers' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Augusta's win bumped their record up to 11-15. As for Lewis County, they dropped their record down to 12-13 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Augusta wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 71-34 loss against Bellevue on the 15th. As for Lewis County, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Lions duke it out with the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
