Basketball Recap: Make It Ten in a Row for Incline

Incline extended their winning streak to ten games thanks to a huge performance from Tommy Williams. The Incline Highlanders really took it to the Pershing County Mustangs for the full four quarters, racking up a 75-40 win thanks in part to Williams, who posted 24 points along with eight steals and six assists. The match was his 22nd in a row with at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Halen Hanson, who went 5 for 9 en route to 12 points in addition to eight boards and five assists. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played.

When it comes to explaining why Pershing County lost on Friday, don't look at Travis Donaldson. Despite the final result, he earned 13 points. Another player making a difference was Trenton Rhodes, who had seven points.

Incline pushed their record up to 13-5 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.6 points. As for Pershing County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.

Incline wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 52-17 win against Silver Stage on the 28th. Pershing County has also already played their next match, a 63-50 victory against Yerington on the 28th.
