Volleyball Recap: Regis Groff Fusion vs. Northglenn Norsemen
Regis Groff was the 3-1 winner over Northglenn when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Regis Groff Fusion fell just short of the Northglenn Norsemen by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Fusion have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Regis Groff actually scored more points across those five sets (102-99), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-19, 25-23, 18-25, 15-10.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Northglenn to victory, but perhaps none more so than Emily Balderrama, who had 13 digs.
Regis Groff's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Northglenn, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Regis Groff will take on Hinkley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northglenn, they will head out to face off against Alameda at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
