Stratford hadn't beaten Edgar on the road since May 9, 2023 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Tigers came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 4-1. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Stratford's win bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Edgar, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stratford will venture away from home to face off against Auburndale at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Tigers 3.9, the Apaches 2.3) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Edgar, they are taking a road trip to take on Phillips at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
