Basketball Recap: Newport Takes a Loss

If Newport was feeling good fresh off their 75-48 takedown of Upper Columbia Academy last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Newport Grizzlies took a blow against the St. George's Dragons on Monday, falling 74-46. The Grizzlies haven't had much luck with the Dragons recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Newport's loss dropped their record down to 3-19. As for St. George's, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

As of now, neither Newport nor St. George's have any future games scheduled.
