Preview: King's Academy vs. Christian Academy
King's Academy will challenge Christian Academy on the road at 7:30 PM on Friday. The teams both have had a rocky road up to this point with eight consecutive losses for King's Academy and seven for Christian Academy.
King's Academy were the first on the board but had to settle for second at the end of their game against Williamsburg Academy last Friday. King's Academy fell just short of Williamsburg Academy by a score of 27-29. King's Academy's loss came about despite a quality game from senior Jackson Moya-mendez, who passed for 302 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Christian Academy took a serious blow against Pee Dee Academy, falling 6-42. The state rankings had actually given Christian Academy a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
