Clay is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game dating back to last season last Monday. They came up short against Stanton, falling 56-30.

Despite the defeat, Clay saw an underclassman step up: freshman Annnaliese Hovda posted nine points plus five rebounds and three steals. Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Orange Park beat Bishop Snyder 44-38 on Monday.

Orange Park pushed their record up to 3-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Clay, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Clay was dealt a bruising 62-34 defeat at the hands of Orange Park in their previous meeting back in February. Thankfully for Clay, Piera Alexander (who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
