Recap: Big Sandy Red Devils vs. Gleason Bulldogs
The Big Sandy Red Devils lost against the Gleason Bulldogs back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Big Sandy ended up on the wrong side of a rough 51-29 walloping at the hands of Gleason. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Big Sandy in their matchups with Gleason: they've now lost nine in a row.
Despite the loss, Big Sandy still got an impressive performance from Bailey Berry, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. Berry scored a full 51.7% of Big Sandy's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Big Sandy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Gleason, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Big Sandy will head out on the road to face off against Hughes at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hughes is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. As for Gleason, they will be playing at home against West Carroll at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
