Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for King Philip Regional

King Philip Regional came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the North Attleborough Rocketeers 3-0. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rocketeers, too.

King Philip Regional never let North Attleborough on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-8, 25-11.

King Philip Regional's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Caleigh Shore, who had 16 digs and two aces. That's the most digs Shore has posted over her last six games. The team also got some help courtesy of Mya McCormick, who had eight digs and six aces.

They weren't the only good server: King Philip Regional was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 25 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in four consecutive contests.

King Philip Regional's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for North Attleborough, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Looking ahead, King Philip Regional will take on Taunton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Attleborough, they will challenge Bridgewater-Raynham at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
