Soccer Game Preview: Shikellamy vs. Midd-West

The Shikellamy Braves will venture away from home to square off against the Midd-West Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Shikellamy's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last ten matches.

If Midd-West heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Shikellamy took over last week. The Braves were the clear victors by a 5-2 margin over Danville on Thursday. Shikellamy haven't had any issues with Danville recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Shikellamy hit Danville with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jillian Deivert (3), Kaci Grimm, and Lauryn Ross.

Meanwhile, Midd-West fell victim to Line Mountain and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 5-0.

Shikellamy's victory bumped their record up to 14-0. As for Midd-West, their loss ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 7-5-1.

Shikellamy took their win against Midd-West in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 11-1 score. In that matchup, the Braves amassed a halftime lead of 9-1, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
