Basketball Recap: Scobey/Opheim Takes Down Bainville in a Playoff Battle

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Scobey/Opheim had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They walked away with a 55-45 win over the Bainville Bulldogs. That's more bragging rights for the Spartans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Scobey/Opheim has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.7 points on average over those games. Bainville's loss dropped their record down to 18-2.

Scobey/Opheim didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 47-26 victory against West Yellowstone on the 12th. Bainville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
