Basketball Recap: Bloomingdale Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

Bloomingdale had won four straight games dating back to last season and Aiden Scheidler did his part to make it five on Thursday. The Blazers came within four points of losing the streak, but they secured a 56-52 W against the Cross Lanes Christian Warriors for which the team can thank Scheidler, who dropped a triple-double with 21 points, ten boards, and 11 steals. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last seven games he's played dating back to last season.

When it comes to explaining why Cross Lanes Christian lost, don't look at Landon Ballard. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 18 points and 15 boards. Another player making a difference was Gabe Mulanax, who posted 11 points.

Bloomingdale's victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Coincidentally, Bloomingdale and Cross Lanes Christian will both be playing Covenant the next time they take the court. The Warriors will host the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Blazers will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
