Soccer Game Preview: North Atlanta vs. West Forsyth

The North Atlanta Warriors will square off against the West Forsyth Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. North Atlanta's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

West Forsyth is facing North Atlanta at the wrong time: North Atlanta suffered their first home loss of the season on Friday and they're likely out for redemption. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 1-0. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as North Atlanta came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 35th, while Forsyth Central are ranked 209th).

Meanwhile, West Forsyth kept a clean sheet against Denmark on Friday. They blew past Denmark 4-0. West Forsyth might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit Denmark with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Abby Batts (2), AnnMarie Rudloff, and Marlee Raymond.

North Atlanta's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for West Forsyth, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-1.
