Volleyball Game Preview: Foundation Christian Academy Panthers vs. Winthrop College Prep Academy Spartans

The Foundation Christian Academy Panthers will venture away from home to face off against the Winthrop College Prep Academy Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Foundation Christian Academy lost 3-0 to Universal Academy on Monday. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Foundation Christian Academy was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-14, 26-24, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Winthrop College Prep Academy hadn't done well against Universal Academy recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Spartans skirted past the Falcons 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

Winthrop College Prep Academy wouldn't go down easily and took Universal Academy into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-20, 25-19, 18-25, 15-11.

Winthrop College Prep Academy's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Foundation Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.

Foundation Christian Academy came up short against Winthrop College Prep Academy in their previous meeting back in March, falling 3-1. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
