Basketball Recap: Keswick Christian Skates Past the Classical Academy of Sarasota with Ease

With a playoff win on the line, Keswick Christian rose to the challenge on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat The Classical Academy of Sarasota Patriots 75-26. That 49 point margin sets a new team best for the Crusaders this season.

Keswick Christian found their leader in sophomore Ian Richardson, who went 6 for 9 on his way to 15 points and three steals. That's the most points Richardson has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Bingham, who posted nine points and four steals.

Keswick Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in three consecutive matches.

Keswick Christian's victory bumped their record up to 14-11. As for The Classical Academy of Sarasota, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Keswick Christian will challenge Sarasota Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Keswick Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.3 points per game this season. The Classical Academy of Sarasota does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
