Winning always takes teamwork, but on Wednesday Eli Charatz stepped things up a notch to give Mendon the 'W'. Charatz struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). The effort marked the most strikeouts he has had since back in April.

Charatz and Mendon will challenge Canandaigua Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Vikings are 8-2 against the Braves going back to April of 2018, a lead they'll look to extend.
