Baseball Recap: Oakman Comes Up Short

Oakman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 14-1 to the Gordo Green Wave. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Green Wave this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 last Tuesday.

Oakman now has a losing record of 16-17. As for Gordo, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-12 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oakman will venture away from home to take on Indian Springs at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Gordo, they will head out to challenge Northside at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
