Baseball Recap: Fox Lane Finds Playoff Glory Versus John Jay

Fox Lane had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the John Jay Wolves on Saturday as they made off with a 7-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-3 back in March.

Fox Lane saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Will Rudolph, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases Rudolph has posted since back in April. Logan Provost was another, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Fox Lane has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for John Jay, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 19-9.

Looking ahead, Fox Lane will be playing in front of their home fans against Mahopac at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. John Jay does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
