Football Recap: Central Davidson Skates Past T.W. Andrews with Ease

A well-balanced attack led Central Davidson over T.W. Andrews in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Spartans blew the Red Raiders out of the water with a 41-6 final score. Considering the Spartans have won five contests by more than 28 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Central Davidson didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Alonzo Adderton and Jordan Ashe. Timothy Click was another major factor on D, picking up two sacks and making seven total tackles.

Although T.W. Andrews took the loss, they still got scores from David Hill and Chris Fulton.

Central Davidson's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.0 points over those games. As for T.W. Andrews, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.

Coincidentally, Central Davidson and T.W. Andrews will both be playing Montgomery Central the next time they take the field. The Red Raiders will host the Timberwolves at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Spartans will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st.
