On Friday, Legend got the W thanks in part to Jaden Lawrence playing the best football he has all season. Lawrence rushed for 132 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries.

Douglas County had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Lawrence it was a similar story. Lawrence rushed for 233 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 37 receiving yards the last time he and the Huskies duked it out back in October of 2023.

Da'Kari Releford Jr helped snap Fountain-Fort Carson's three-game losing streak. Releford Jr turned in nothing short of a gem on Thursday, rushing for 117 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries.

Releford Jr and Fountain-Fort Carson will look to defend their home field on Friday against Pine Creek at 7:00 p.m. The game will pit Releford Jr up against the Eagles' star RB Xavier Lukes. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
