Baseball Recap: Cassadaga Valley Comes Up Short

Cassadaga Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Maple Grove Red Dragons, falling 14-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Dragons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-11 back in April.

Cassadaga Valley's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Maple Grove, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-7.

Cassadaga Valley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-4 defeat against Westfield on the 16th. As for Maple Grove, they have also already played their next matchup, a 15-5 loss against Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama on the 15th.
