Baseball Recap: Shekinah Christian's Winning Streak Snapped at Six Games

Shekinah Christian fell victim to Granville Christian Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Granville Christian Academy. The match marked the first time this year in which the Flames were not able to get on the board.

Shekinah Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Kilzer, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

The loss snapped Shekinah Christian's winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 10-4 record. As for Granville Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Shekinah Christian and Granville Christian Academy will both be playing Tree of Life Christian the next time they take the field. The Flames will host the Trojans at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while Granville Christian Academy will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
