Volleyball Recap: North Newton Comes Up Short + How To Watch

North Newton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the North White Vikings. If the Spartans were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Vikings when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-11, 25-16.

Rylynn Klemz paced North Newton's offense, picking up three kills. Klemz got some help from Riley Higgins and her two assists. Higgins was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

North White was led to victory by Emma Jacobsma and Adriann Conn. Jacobsma had four digs and three aces, while Conn had five aces and four digs. That's the most aces Jacobsma has posted over her last four contests.

North Newton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. As for North White, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-7.
