Volleyball Game Preview: Bedford Bearcats vs. John Marshall Lawyers

The Bedford Bearcats will face off against the John Marshall Lawyers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Bedford will be strutting in after a victory while John Marshall will be coming in after a loss.

Bedford had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Lake Ridge Academy on Thursday. The Bearcats blew past the Royals 3-0. The Bearcats not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 19th (when they won 3-0).

Meanwhile, it's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact John Marshall can now relate to. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raptors on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Lawyers in their meetings with the Raptors: they've now lost six in a row.

Bedford now has a winning record of 6-5. As for John Marshall, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.
