Baseball Recap: Piketon Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Piketon and Lynchburg-Clay squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Piketon had to settle for second. They lost 6-0 to the Mustangs. The Redstreaks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2017.

This is the second loss in a row for Piketon and nudges their season record down to 8-16-1. As for Lynchburg-Clay, their victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-3.

As of now, neither Piketon nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
