Volleyball Recap: CSTHEA Comes Up Short

CSTHEA lost against Knoxville T back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Patriots fell 3-1 to the Trailblazers. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

CSTHEA was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Knoxville T work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-16, 10-25, 25-17.

Lydia Tallent paced CSTHEA's offense, picking up 13 kills. Tallent got some help from Emmi Black and her 27 assists. Rosie Fincher controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

CSTHEA's defeat dropped their record down to 28-9. As for Knoxville T, they pushed their record up to 34-5 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road.

CSTHEA has already played their next contest (against Baylor), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Knoxville T does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
