Softball Recap: Beallsville Blue Devils vs. Bridgeport Bulldogs
Beallsville extended their losing streak to eight on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 3-11 in the process. They came up short against the Bridgeport Bulldogs, falling 13-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 18-0 last Wednesday.
Beallsville saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Raegen Lucas, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
As for Bridgeport, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 13.3 runs.

In other batting news, Bridgeport got a massive performance out of Jayde Carman, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI and two doubles. Those four RBI gave Carman a new career-high. Madison Aubrey was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Beallsville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-0 defeat against Frontier on the 9th. As for Bridgeport, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Buckeye Local on the 10th.
