Doherty Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Alyssa Ramos

Alyssa Ramos was instrumental in extending Doherty's winning streak to seven on Thursday. Ramos did her part (and then some), rushing for 65 yards and two touchdowns for the 'W'.

Doherty pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Ramos and Doherty will challenge Douglas County at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.

The game was her fourth straight with seven or more total tackles.

Rounding off our Top Five is Olivia Nelson of Elizabeth. Nelson picked up 38 receiving yards, and also threw for eight yards and a touchdown.

This is the second loss in a row for Elizabeth and nudges their season record down to 8-6. Nelson and Elizabeth will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Vista Ridge at 5:30 p.m.
