Basketball Recap: Lambert Comes Up Short

Lambert was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 45-37 to the North Forsyth Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Longhorns of the 59-41 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February.

Despite the loss, Lambert still got an impressive performance from Parker Whipple, who posted 23 points.

Lambert's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for North Forsyth, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lambert will face off against Forsyth Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Longhorns will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 59.2 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for North Forsyth, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against North Atlanta at 6:00 p.m.
