St. Augustine is a perfect 7-0 against Beachside since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Yellow Jackets will venture away from home to face off against the Barracudas at 6:00 p.m. Beachside took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on St. Augustine, who comes in off a win.

St. Augustine will bounce into Wednesday's match after beating Global Outreach Charter Academy, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. The Yellow Jackets blew past the Kodiaks 3-0 on Tuesday.

While St. Augustine won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Beachside came up short against Bartram Trail on Thursday and fell 3-1. The loss continues a trend for the Barracudas in their meetings with the Bears: they've now lost three in a row.

Beachside started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-12, 25-18, 25-22.

St. Augustine's win bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Beachside, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.

St. Augustine was able to grind out a solid victory over Beachside when the teams last played back in March, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Yellow Jackets since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
