Softball Recap: Norwich Free Academy Wins Going Away Against Coventry/Windham RVT/Bolton/Lyman Memorial

After losing to Coventry/Windham RVT/Bolton/Lyman Memorial the last time they met, Norwich Free Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 9-3 victory on Monday. Considering the Wildcats have won three games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Norwich Free Academy's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Coventry/Windham RVT/Bolton/Lyman Memorial, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norwich Free Academy will challenge Westerly at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
