They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Mustang Broncos 64-35. Considering the Spartans have won six matchups by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
A big part of Bixby's victory came down to the chemistry between Carson Kirby and his top target Blake Conner Hogshooter. Kirby threw for 350 yards and six touchdowns while completing 75.9% of his passes while Conner Hogshooter picked up 187 receiving yards and four touchdowns. Kirby was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 67 yards. Cord Nolan did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 90 receiving yards.
Bixby was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 317 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in December of 2023.
