Baseball Recap: Cumberland Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Cumberland's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Egg Harbor Township Eagles on Tuesday. The Colts' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Cumberland got a good showing from Daniel Orr, who pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, Cumberland saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Kundera, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base.

Cumberland's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Egg Harbor Township, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Cumberland will be playing in front of their home fans against Deptford at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Egg Harbor Township, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when Egg Harbor Township Eagles duke it out with Oakcrest Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
