For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last six times Maize and Haysville Campus have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Eagles walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Colts. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Colts recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Maize easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-19.

Maize's victory bumped their record up to 14-17. As for Haysville Campus, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-22.

Looking ahead, Maize will take on Emporia on Saturday. As for Haysville Campus, they have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Andover on the 16th.
