Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Coginchaug Regional). They walked away with a 10-7 win over the Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy Phoenix on Thursday. While the Blue Devils didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Coginchaug Regional pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
