Merced had won two straight games and Tuger Moua did his part to make it three on Tuesday. The Bears put the hurt on the Golden Valley Cougars with a sharp 3-0 victory thanks in part to Moua, who had 20 assists and three digs. He is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 15 or more in each of the last three games he's played.

While Merced won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-12, 25-13.

When it comes to explaining why Golden Valley lost, don't look at Marc Her. Despite the final result, he had 16 assists and eight digs.
