Baseball Recap: Plainville Comes Up Short

Plainville fell victim to Beloit and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 15-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 17-0 on Monday.

Plainville's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Beloit, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Plainville will square off against Sylvan-Lucas on Thursday. As for Beloit, they will face off against Ellinwood on Monday.
