Baseball Recap: Obama Academy of International Studies Comes Up Short

After flying high against Brashear on Thursday, Obama Academy of International Studies came back down to earth. The Eagles fell just short of the Carrick Raiders by a score of 3-1 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Eagles have suffered since May 8, 2024.

Luke Ehman was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed six innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits.

On the hitting side, Roman Gray made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Obama Academy of International Studies' defeat dropped their record down to 9-4-1. As for Carrick, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-6.

As of now, neither Obama Academy of International Studies nor the Raiders have any future games scheduled.
