Baseball Game Preview: Fort Scott Tigers vs. Frontenac #raidernation

The Fort Scott Tigers will head out to square off against the Frontenac #raidernation on Monday. Frontenac took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Fort Scott, who comes in off a win.

Fort Scott will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Monday, then bounced right back against Parsons on Friday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 12-2 win. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Frontenac suffered their biggest defeat since March 23rd on Thursday. They came up short against Blue Valley Southwest, falling 13-3.

Frontenac's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-4. As for Fort Scott, their win bumped their record up to 9-13.

Fort Scott got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in May of 2025 against Frontenac by a conclusive 12-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
