Baseball Recap: Hanna Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Hanna's offense. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Los Fresnos Falcons on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Golden Eagles of the 12-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Hanna saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joseph Ruiz, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Hanna has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season. As for Los Fresnos, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-3-2.

Coming up, Hanna will face off against San Benito at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Los Fresnos, they will challenge Juarez-Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons are facing the Huskies at the right time seeing as the Huskies are stuck on a 16-game losing streak.
