Soccer Recap: Berkeley Springs Takes a Loss

Berkeley Springs and Pocahontas County combined for 28 shots on goal on Saturday, which explains the impressive seven total goals scored. The Indians came up short against the Warriors, falling 6-1. The contest was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Berkeley Springs couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Josh Morgan, which was the first he's scored this season.

Berkeley Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Pocahontas County, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.

Coincidentally, Berkeley Springs and Pocahontas County will both be playing Petersburg the next time they take the pitch. The Warriors will host the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Indians will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
