Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Capital). They came out on top against the Parkersburg Big Reds by a score of 76-68 on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Cougars as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Capital's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-7. As for Parkersburg, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.

Capital will head out to square off against Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Riverside has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last six games. Parkersburg has already played their next game (against Cabell Midland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
