Oakwood Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 74-65 to the Decatur Red Raiders.

When it comes to explaining why Oakwood Academy lost, don't look at Jadon Williams. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double with 30 points and 15 rebounds. Williams is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last 13 games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Jamel Myrie, who posted eight points and eight boards.

Oakwood Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Decatur, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Oakwood Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 68-64 win against Park Crossing on the 26th. As for Decatur, they will head out on the road to square off against Lawrence County at 7:45 p.m. on Monday.
